Time cannot be 'managed'; there are only 24 hours in each day despite the claims of the myriad of expensive 'time-management' systems. PDM's Personal and Professional Organisation workshops are focused on helping people become more personally productive. We don't rely upon proprietary stationery or special diaries to achieve worthwhile results.

Among the issues that affect issues affect personal productivity are

Clarity of purpose and goals.

Correctly setting the priority of goals and activities. Then choosing what NOT to do.

A simple system to plan and review activities according to priorities. This system must be easy to use, and be the same for both business and private use.

How people work with others. For example, how well people delegate or communicate.

The degree to which people understand themselves, and others, and are able to direct their thinking towards positive outcomes.

We have observed that many people abandon pre-packaged 'time-management' systems and diaries a few months after training. 

Instead we take a different approach. Participants are encouraged to create their own systems in workshops- a system that works for them and based on the principles and tools supplied.

A second day of training/workshop. Reviewing experiences, overcoming difficulties in implementation, setting measures and discussing alternative strategies.
