Long term and short-term direction and objectives are established.
The current and future environment /situation is assessed. Key
strategies are defined. Resources are allocated according to agreed
priorities. Roles, structures and responsibilities become clear and
accepted. Mutual priorities for action are established and committed
to. The manager’s role is also developed to that of team leader,
and attention is given to the manager’s role as a link between
organisational levels.
Program
format.
BP/T
is an intensive program achieved through the teams attendance at two
workshops (2days plus 2 days) held some six to eight weeks apart.
The first team to attend the program is usually the senior team,
although not in all cases, and is followed by cascading and linking
the process down to other teams in the organisation. Participants,
and the team as a whole, find the experience extremely rewarding and
satisfying.
